Chapter Two Men...

Everyone had a such a wonderful time during lunch. There were a few laughs and good stories but as soon as the bill was paid, everyone called it a day and went home.

But Aneko was not tired and wanted to have some more fun before dinner.

" Misa. " Aneko noticed Misa was leaving. " Did you have to go home? " She asked.

Misa stops and looks Aneko.

" No. I'm just going to take a walk. Why did you asked? " Misa asked nicely.

" I was hoping that maybe you could give me some tips on how to keep a guy. " She answerd with a hint of excitment.

" I don't know... I have a boyfriend and... "

Aneko looks at Misa with her big,blue eyes.

" Pretty please? You had your boyfriend since you were six. Please? "

Misa tries to avoid eye contact.

" I can't. " Misa crosses her arms trying to look away.

" Come on. It's not cheating on your boyfriend, you're just helping me. Please? " Aneko begs on her knees.

" My boyfriend is not the type that understands... "

" He's miles away from here. " Aneko sings.

" But..." Misa gives up and sighs. " Fine. "

" Yay! " Aneko cheers as she wraps her arms around Misa.

" Okay! Okay! " Misa laughed. " Let me go. I need to move if we need to go to the mall. "

" Oh, Misa, thank you! "

MICHIKO'S APARTMENT

Michiko was reading a book on pregnancy with crackers and apple juice. All Michiko wants is that her baby to be healthy and happy. She watch what she eats and drinks, has been doing light activity, talks to her unborn baby, and baby-proof the apartment. All she needs is some baby clothes,diapers, bottles,toys,a crib, a highchair and a play pin. The girls are throwing a baby shower in two months and help Michiko with the nursery.

Everything was going to be perfect until Michiko went to get the mail. She was heading back to her apartment door as she looks through. Most of them are ads and bills. When she made it to the door, she finds a letter that almost made her heart stop.

" Fa....father...? " Michiko's hand started to shake.

THE MALL

" Remember, don't go out with a guy who is so shallow that he'll dump you just because one of your toes is taller than the big toe. " Misa suggest to Aneko.

Aneko looks at Misa with a worry face then looks at her shoes, looking at her toes.

" Are you saying that one of my toes are taller than my big toe? " She asked staring at them.

" No! No! That whole toe thing was an example. " Misa explained.

" Oh... " Aneko felt so silly that her face turned red.

" Okay. Let's start at the food court. "

" But I already ate. "

" You're not going to eat there. You're going to sit in an empty table alone, waiting for someone to come up to you. "

" Oh. Are you sure that will work? " Aneko asked.

" It worked for my boyfriend. "

" Was he sitting alone? " Aneko asked.

" Yes. I felt sorry for him,thinking it would be okay to sit with him. But the teachers pulled me away from him. "

Aneko looked Misa with a confused look.

" ...They pulled you away from him? Was he sick or something? "

" ...No.... "

Aneko just keep staring at Misa. She knew that Misa met her boyfriend when she was six. Aneko asked herself : Why would adults keep Misa away from a harmless little boy?

" ...Anyway,let's get you a man. "

Aneko was still confused.

WITH MICHIKO

Michiko has been reading the letter at least four times. She couldn't believe that her father needed to see after all of these years.

Dear Michiko,
This is your father, Minowa Kokoro. I've been looking for you when I heard you survived the attack of the Kaguya clan. I've been tracking you down ever since. Now that I know where you are, I'm going to meet you at the gate of the first Saturday of next month.
Minowa.

Michiko was not sure if she wants to see him or not. She wasn't convinced if the letter her father wrote was true. Even when she was three, she still remembers what her father said to her mother before he stormed out. Those words were unspeakable...Michiko has weeks to think about it.

AFTER THE TRIP TO THE MALL

Aneko had no luck. She sat there for 20 minutes and nobody came up to her. Just a lady asking if the seat is taken. But that didn't matter right now, Aneko is still wondering about Misa's boyfriend.

" Sorry it didn't work. " Misa wasn't able to get Aneko a guy, but she can at least walk her to Amaya's apartment. " I'd thought that would work for sure. "

" That's fine. I'm still young. Anyway, about your boyfriend... "

" Must we talk about him? " Misa asked with a worried tone in her voice.

" I'm just wondering why you never talk so much about him. "

" I just don't feel like talking about him. That's all. "

" But I don't even know his name, where he lives, if he's an only child or not, or how cute his butt is. "

Misa just simply sighs.She looks at her watch.

" ...I have to go. It's almost dark. "

" But Misa... " Aneko tried to stop her but,

" I can't stay, I'm not allow out after dark. " Misa repiles, taking her leave.

Aneko sighs. She at least knows someone who knew Misa for such a long time, Kantana.

THE NEXT DAY

Aneko pays Kantana a visit. She was hoping to get information from Misa's childhood friend. But no luck.

" Sorry, Aneko. All I know about her boyfriend is that lives in the Sand Village and that he's the youngest out of his two older sibilings. "

" He has an older brother? " Aneko asked in excitment,but then she remembers why she's here. " Never mind. How can you not know? You're Misa's best
friend! "

" I know and believe me, as a friend I kept on asking but she didn't bother to tell me or Tomi. "

" Are you serious? "

" Yeah. " Kantana nod. " And don't waste your time asking her parents. They'll never spill it out. I tried. "

Aneko couldn't believe this!
